Regina Wilmink turned her hobby into a profession over 30 years ago. Her heart beats for decorations - preferably with fresh flowers. She has been decorating the Chesa Monte with her creative creations for many years, giving the house a unique ambience. She is now almost part of the family, has seen the children grow up in the house and is greeted with joy at every visit. Regina herself also enjoys the family atmosphere, the appreciation of her work and the creative freedom that the house offers her.

Hotel decoration with style and trends

Regina naturally pays attention to current trends in her decorations. The choice of colors is based on fashion and interior design: in summer 2024, "peach" was the absolute hit, while in winter, soft, subtle shades dominate. Regina gets her inspiration from training courses run by wholesalers for florists - often in the Netherlands, where her husband also comes from. Over the years, she has built up an extensive floral network that significantly enriches the quality and variety of the Austrian hotel decorations at Chesa Monte.

Regina's hobbies

Regina balances out her work with exercise: skiing, tennis and motorcycle tours with her husband are all part of it. They explore the Alpine passes on their KTM, especially the Silvretta High Alpine Road and the Kaunertal Glacier Road - ideal tips for all two-wheel enthusiasts.

From nature into the home - tips for natural decorations

In autumn, the subtle color palette replaces the colorful summer blooms. Seed pods, fruit clusters, nuts, branches and twigs are transformed into small works of art. Regina recommends:

  • Arranging dried hydrangea flowers in earthenware vases - true flea market treasures come into their own perfectly
  • Place lavender, thistles, quaking grass or poppy seed pods in small jars
  • Use rosehips for autumnal decorations or decorative hearts to adorn doors, windows and chests of drawers

Creativity, experience and attention to detail.

The result is a hotel decoration that delights guests, emphasizes the ambience of the hotel and brings the beauty of nature inside. Regina's creativity, experience and attention to detail make the Chesa Monte a unique experience for all the senses - a highlight in the world of hotel decoration in Austria.
