Karlspitze

You start in the village of Feichten (1,287 m) and walk in the direction of Ögghöfe. From the Ögghöfe (the oldest farmsteads in the Kaunertal), the hiking trail continues in the direction of the Hahntennen. After the tree line, the trail follows the Thomas Penz Höhenweg to the Hahntennenhütte. At the Hahntennenhütte you will find the turn-off to the Feichtner Karlspitze. This is where the difficult, high alpine trail over rocky terrain begins.

You will be rewarded with a breathtaking view at the cross on the Karlspitze at 2,918m above sea level. The way back is along the same route, or you can descend via the Thomas Penz Höhenweg via Kupp.

The tour to the Feichtner Karlspitze starts in the village of Feichten and is an alpine high mountain tour for experienced mountaineers. Definitely a great, lonely and strenuous mountain tour!
