The thing with the Genusshauben.

The Green Toque: Culinary highlight with a sustainability claim. Since 2021, we have been walking through the area, through the kitchen, green-haired in winter and summer.

Since 1990, the Green Toque has stood for a rendezvous between regional, seasonal food and creative cuisine, health and sustainability, gourmet cuisine and natural down-to-earthness. Wholesome-vegetarian is the magic formula behind the guarantee brand. It's about freedom of choice and an overall idea of how food should be.

The Grüne Haube combines cereal diversity and legume variations in balance, quality and freshness. Regional vegetable and fruit varieties with a specific taste and typical sensory characteristics tickle the palate and enable new taste compositions. Plant-based alternatives tempt you to a new nutritional standard.

Aromas, freshness and creativity delight the senses. The use of high-quality oils and crunchy vegetable rarities leads to delicacies with high feelings. The Green Toque cuisine is not a burden, and the skillful use of whole grain products leads to euphoria even among skeptics.

The Green Toque delicacies on the plate represent home-made and seasonal green cuisine at toque level, all conveyed by our attentive, winning service team who communicate the uniqueness of the cuisine.

The criteria guarantee fresh preparation, local flavors, the absence of convenience products and organic certification, which provides additional clarity for guests.

Sustainable goals for a healthy future.

The wholesome vegetarian criteria, the use of minimally processed, seasonal, regional and organic food and the support of fair trade make the Grüne Haube a sustainable brand. Four of the 17 "Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations by 2030" (SDGs) are fulfilled by the Green Hood. The SDGs of the United Nations define global and sustainable goals for a healthy future.

The criteria are checked annually by means of a menu plan check and the conditions on site. Regular training ensures quality and up-to-date knowledge. In addition, further checks are carried out by the state-run Bio-Austria inspection body. The Green Toque can therefore be enjoyed with a clear conscience, for your own health and the environment.
