We are climate alliance

Climate Alliance hotel

We’re really looking forward to it: Because we’re now an “awarded” part of the climate alliance.

We don’t need to lose too many words about the current state of our mother earth. Every day we are already confronted with the consequences of our actions. Reason enough to take the next step in our house to make a modest contribution against the consumption of resources and for a reduction in greenhouse gases. By joining the climate alliance, the largest climate protection network in Austria, we are showing our colors – and want to set an example.

To do

“Do”. A word that you often see, hear, feel in our communication with you. That we, at the Hotel Chesa Monte in Fiss, like to live, because talking alone doesn’t make you happy and it feels so much better in the evening when it’s not just thought but done. And will. In this case for the climate. For us.

Our contribution. Our goals

  • Avoidance of heat loss through intelligent solutions at the entrances
  • Ecological management measures: 100% renunciation of harmful substances for weed and pest control
  • Promotion of unsealed, water-permeable areas in the garden instead of paved terraces, garden paths and parking lots
  • Roof and facade greening
  • Use of efficient light sources (conversion to LED)
  • Car-free excursion offers
  • Guest mobility – providing incentives for environmentally friendly arrival (discounts

Our climate alliance philosophy

“Acting sustainably means acting as if you were born to stay forever!”

The basis for doing and acting in the Hotel Chesa Monte is the commitment to the economical use of natural resources and the sustainable protection of our environment.

We want to create the best possible environment not only for the present, but also for future generations. In addition, we act ethically, with a focus on the common good and in the spirit of the eco-social market economy.

The Hotel Chesa Monte promotes and supports non-profit organizations and local clubs, for example the SOS Children’s Village Imst, schools, music bands and the local volunteer fire brigade.
