For your pleasant stay with us at Hotel Chesa Monte, we have summarised the most important information for you.

We guarantee check-in at 4:00 pm. If you arrive earlier, you can pick up your Super.Sommer.Card at the reception in summer or store your ski equipment in the ski depot in winter.
The waiting time can also be bridged in a relaxed way with a coffee on our sun terrace or at the hotel bar.
We offer SmartCheck-In. With this tool, you can enter your details online from home and then check in easily via tablet on arrival. Each guest receives the information in advance personally with our anticipation email.
If you have booked through a tour operator (e.g. TUI), please contact us by email before your arrival.
On the day of departure, we ask you to vacate the room by 10:00 am. However, if you do not want to end your holiday yet, we offer you an extended Chesa Monte enjoyment without room (€ 29 per person). This gives you access to the spa area on the day of departure and you can fortify yourself for the journey home at the pampering buffet in the afternoon.
For your fixed booking, we take the liberty of charging a deposit of 30% of the tour price. The deposit includes travel cancellation or travel interruption insurance. The exact offer of our partner “Europäische Reiseversicherung” is enclosed with the written confirmation of reservation. In case of an explicit waiver of the travel insurance as well as for bookings without down payment, the cancellation conditions according to the international hotel regulations apply.
Bathrobes and towels are provided for you in your room.
Of course, we also provide bathrobes for our younger guests. If the size does not fit in your room, you can always ask for an exchange at the reception.
For the sake of the environment, we ask you to use your own bathing slippers.
Have you forgotten yours at home? Ask at reception for disposable bathing slippers. Contribution towards expenses Euro 2,– per pair.
When the Hotel Chesa Monte was founded in 1990, Maria and Alois Winkler decided to run the hotel without dogs or pets. This was primarily triggered by their son’s severe allergy to animal hair.
Animals in the hotel are not only a known problem for allergy sufferers, but also a hygienic problem with corresponding extra work for the cleaning staff. By strictly observing the ban on pets, we can counteract this problem.
At Chesa Monte, we guarantee dog-free rooms and suites. This also means stress-free holidays for all those who are afraid of dogs, for example. In addition, we thus meet the highest hygienic standards.
Due to the Non-Smoker Protection Act of 1 November 2019, smoking is prohibited throughout the hotel (including on the balconies).
We kindly ask our guests to observe this.

The covered parking spaces in the garage are reserved exclusively for individual suites; the parking space number corresponds to the room number.
Free outdoor parking is available to all guests occupying a room in the main house or in the chalet.
For a fee of € 10,– per day you can rent a garage space.
On arrival, please use the check-in parking spaces in front of the main entrance. Our ladies at the reception will inform you about everything else.
Ski passes are conveniently available at the hotel reception in winter (a handling fee of € 2 will be charged). We are happy to add the ski passes to your room bill, the use of the keycard is charged at € 2. After your skiing fun, you can return the expired ski pass directly to the vending machine at the valley station or have it reactivated for a new ski day at the hotel reception. Please note that a photo ID is required for the age determination of children/young people and for senior tickets.
For bookings with arrival until April 2022 we offer you a free cancellation (without giving reasons) until 14 days before arrival.
From summer 2022 onwards, the regular cancellation conditions according to the Austrian Hotel Contract Conditions apply.

The Chesa Monte is located at 1,438 m in the middle of the idyllic village centre of Fiss. You can reach the valley station of the cable cars in 5 to 7 minutes on foot.
With the Schönjoch cable car you float comfortably and quickly up to the Fisser Joch at 2,436 m and can then enter the extensive hiking or skiing area.
Our Chesa Monte cuisine offers you enjoyment from early to late – breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. as well as refreshment in the afternoon at our afternoon buffet from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.. In the evening our kitchen team will spoil you with gourmet menus from 18:30 to 20:00.
You can pay your hotel bill (minus the deposit) either in cash (Euro or foreign currencies at the daily rate) or with your EC-Bankomat card with code. (Please talk to your house bank about your daily debit limit.)
