Cindy passed the mountain hiking guide exam in 2021 and now she is very happy to show Chesa Monte guests nature and our beautiful mountains.

Mountain days are my favourite days

Cindy's tip for hikers

When you buy hiking shoes, you should pay particular attention to a good fit. Walk around with them in the shop. If you feel an uncomfortable spot somewhere that could cause you difficulties while hiking, then it is advisable to try a different hiking boot.

When buying hiking socks, look for good quality. Mountain socks have reinforcements on the heels and soles of the feet so that the foot is not exposed to so much friction in sensitive areas. You should always buy hiking socks two sizes smaller than your normal shoe size. This makes hiking socks more like a “second skin”.

nice.
